I don't see what you're talking about here at all..  Honestly looking at
that picture I see this thing as optimized for placement on the right
side of the K3.  That gives you easier access to the select knob and the
buttons along the right side.  Hell if all else fails you can set the
thing on top of the K3.  Just because something is set on the left side
doesn't mean its ergonomically designed to set there.  It would do
equally well on top of and to the right of the K3.  Bout the only thing
its not designed for is to sit below the K3.
