If you download the tutorial_1.jelib file at
http://cmosedu.com/videos/electric/tutorial1/electric_tutorial_1.htm
open it in Electric (File -> Open Library), then write the spice deck
(Tools -> Simulation (Spice) -> Write Spice Deck). Does the same error
happen or does it only occur with your jelib file? If it only occurs
with your jelib file and you need more help, please send your jelib file.
The error "C:\R_divider.spi (Access denied)" seems to indicate that you
do not have file permissions to read or write files at C:\. Does that
spi file already exist at C:\R_divider.spi? Is it read-only? If it
exists, try removing it or moving it or giving it both read and write
file permissions.
Or try saving the jelib file to another location on your computer that
you would have user permissions like in a new folder in your Documents
folder or on the Desktop (File -> Save Library As), then close the
library (File -> Close Libarary) and open it again (File -> Library).
You likely have to do all that so the current directory gets changed.
It may be that that there is a bug in electricBinary-9.07.jar (on
Windows 10 with jre1.8.0_144), because in File -> Preferences there is
Categories -> General -> General -> I/O under Current directory, the
changing of the New field and clicking Apply then OK doesn't seem to
change the current directory or saving the jelib to a new location
followed by clicking on the library name in the Explorer tab and
right-clicking then selecting Reload Library doesn't seem to load the
new location of the library.
