Thx Bastien! i look at it but it seemed highly complex (im an academic and dont know much (well nothing tbh :) ) about programming. is there a simple way of defining these like the GUI for org-emphasis-alist (i used customize-variables ) as you said i just want to highlight (BG/FG) specific areas/lines. any help would be greatly appreciated!
