Just go with the flow, right? Whether true or not, this is a weak
argument. By the same logic, we should all get rid of our Macs and
switch to Windows-based PCs, since that's "what everyone else is using",
right? It doesn't matter if "the fight was lost ages ago". You can still
choose to do the right thing.
And every fight is exactly the same. Windows or Mac is EXACTLY THE SAME as
Text or HTML and vi or EMACS
Pretty much true, except that I am not arguing for plain text to the
*exclusion* of HTML. Only for the default, since I would much prefer a
plain text-centric client over an HTML-centric one. The default format
for new messages will help determine which one Letters becomes.
