The problem is stripping formatting and risking pissing the sender off... The problem is that Often times i have to reply to all, forward, or otherwise include people who weren't in on the original message. If my mail client completely jacks up the formatting of that original message, THAT IS A PROBLEM. Especially when i need those people to see the message that *I* saw and not some mangled amalgam version of it.
