Quoting Jay <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:

I doubt that anything associated with Firefox is broken, at least in the
area of your friend's managing of graphics. The web browsers brings you
the graphics. That's part of its job. How you handle those graphics is
beyond the web browser's control. If your friend's problem has to do with
*downloading* graphics, then what he should do is open Firefox's
preferences (in the Firefox menu), select "Downloads" in the left column,
then make sure he sets his preferences appropriately according to what he
is seeking.

My bad, this is what he wrote in his last message. Seems it's Mozilla that's
giving him fits.
Maybe he needs to try Firefox.

Don't know why the photos I forwarded in the previous
"Last Photo I ever Took Contest..." e-mail got sent only
as image place-holders-- sorry 'bout that!!

I just loaded Mozilla Thunderbird
onto this new Dell desktop and have not figured out how
to properly configure it yet-- Any Mozilla Thunderbird
e-mail users in the group? I need some help with a couple
of things--; like, how do I FORCE it to ALWAYS use FIXED
WIDTH courier font instead of constantly defaulting to
variable width... (Grrrrr.....)
