Question-2: When running on Mac OS X, especially on Tiger, it appears
that Emailer gets new messages in, but does not bring them into the
INBOX
until I quit and restart Emailer.
The arthritis in my left largest toe tells me that this is due to the
fact that some of the work is spawn as a separate thread , so that the
reading of the incoming is still going on while the main Emailer
task is
already filling the INBOX, and the messages arrive after that.
Sounds like the .DS_Store problem. Quit Emailer, Start Emailer, your
messages should unpack. Quit Emailer again. Throw out your Temp
Incoming folder (located in your Emailer Files folder, which is
located in the same folder as your Emailer application). Close ALL
open windows. Start Emailer, your problem should be solved.
