AppleWorks 6.2.9 works fine on Intel Macs in OS X 10.4.10 (via Rosetta).
Apple today (or yesterday) EOL it however.

You might want to check out the new Pages version that comes with iWork 08. It now has separate document for word processor and pagelayout.

I don't know -- I'm still using the one I brought over to my G4 from my old G3 Beige. It runs perfectly well in Classic Mode, so I never saw the
point of looking for an OS X native version.
