It's a "permissions" problem.

Applications -> Claris Emailer Folder* -> Claris Emailer Files* -> Connections

*Check the permissions on these folders and the file itself.

Owner Access: Read Write
Group Access: Read only
Others: Read only

You're quite right. I have multiple accounts on my machine: I have a separate "working" account from my administrator account, so that, when I'm surfing the web, I don't do so with administrator access, in case I encounter a malicious web site. The first time I tried unzipping my Emailer files into the Applications folder, I couldn't, so I logged into my Administrator account and unzipped from there, not thinking that I'd need read/write access to make the program work.
