Well, thanks, Chris for the reply, although discouraging. I have, though been doing fine with attachments and the email itself for some time. I remember when there was a problem with multiple attachments, but that seemed to get corrected, and eMailer always zipped them up into a zip file and deposited that into the downloads folder. But the last real attachment I downloaded was on Jan 11. I can still download mail that has no attachments. The annoying thing is that I cannot figure out how to delete the attachments from the AOL online mail after downloading manually and then get the plain email without the attachment.
I know Mail works, but it doesn't help my filing system for the email lists I am on. And I think Mail needs to be on 10.4 or 10.5 which I don't have on this computer and it isn't even capable of 10.4. I guess I will have to try to call AOL and see if anyone knows anything. I hope that it doesn't stop supporting my download of regular mail, or it raally will be annoying. I hate reading mail online. I like to store it on my computer and read later.
