You can always import all your emailer mail in to Mail.app. You can create folders and subfolders in Mail, so depending on what exactly you are doing with your list filing, you may very well be able to do the same in Mail (plus other nice features like smart folders that let you file things in one place that fits logically with long term storage, but view them in another that fits logically with reading of new mail).
Mail.app was included with the first version of OS X, so any version you are running has it.
Of course, I'm not trying to tell you to leave eMailer, just letting you know that solutions to your problems very likely exist.
