Alex,

Yea, I gathered that much from the error message. It doesn't help when you
don't know what the path to realtime is or is supposed to be.

For example, under /usr I have folders "realtime" and
"realtime-2.6.24-16-rtai". If it were the former, I would think it would
find it, otherwise I don't have a corresponding realtime-2.6.24.7-rtai or
whatever it would be for the version I built.

Under /usr/src I have header folders for versions including 2.6.24-16 and
2.6.24.7-rtai.

What is "the path for where RTAI or RTlinux is installed"?

Do I even have the correct version installed or is that in the package with
a dependency issue (rtai-dev-2.6.24.7-rtai_3.6+r1_i386.deb)?

Regards,
Eric

configure --with-realtime=/path/to/realtime

as a general rule for linux programs: program --help
