Kim Kirwan contacted me directly. I'm guessing that he was taking things
slowly as he wasn't aware of the upcoming 2.5 release and was not aware
that at least one idiot (me) was trying to use the master as a means of
maintaining
live documentation for my users. Since some changes I have made in hardware
and drivers for that new capability will NOT be usable in 2.4.x, it made
sense for me
to not put it in the 2.4 docs. But, I wanted a usable document for
people who
were using EMC built from master, and whenever the 2.5 was released.
So, I may well be the only person who cares, at this moment, that the docs
are in this state. John Thornton has put links on the linuxcnc to the
in-progress
docs, so he has exposed this to the public, if they search out the new docs.

Anyway, Kim has said he is going to look into these problems, and may be
able to fix
up some of the bad links and missing manual files fairly quickly, such
that the
hardware driver PDF's are getting built. That will make me a lot
happier, as
at least the file I've been working on will get built again, and I can
see what I
am editing in the final form. The HTML docs should not be used until the
math formatting is fixed, but Pavel suggests he has ideas on how to do that,
which sounds great! (I had some ideas which were almost certainly the WRONG
way to do it, but use things I know....)
