I submitted a patch that enables Fanuc-style lathe tool change and offset commands to the Sourceforge tracker feature requests (https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=6744&atid=356744). I have not written the documentation, but if people review and like the patch I will be happy to do so.
