Yes it is - I would think Charles is in a better position to comment on the
status

what is currently happening is - John Morris's major RTAPI work is being merged
and tested ; next is Charles PCI work

its still in progress so I dont recommend pulling and trying to get something
working just yet but it's getting close

the current integration branch:
http://git.mah.priv.at/gitweb/emc2-dev.git/shortlog/refs/heads/rtos-integration-preview2
the current usermode PCI branch:
http://git.mah.priv.at/gitweb/emc2-dev.git/shortlog/refs/heads/usermode-pci

we will need to have a wider round of tests once usermode PCI is merged anyway

---

We still have an open question to decide: merge into 2.5 or into master - I
recommend v2.5_branch even if this means a bit rocky roads ahead

Everybody voting for 'let's put this off, put it into master' should be very
clear to understand this will de facto mean a declaration of obsolescence of
the 2.5 branch as far as operating support is concerned, and contributions to
2.5 likely will make a dive.

I am entertaining opinions.
