Yes I see after looking a little closer it is hardy going to break everyone's programs. only if you are using a lathe and only is you are using a backtool and want it displayed as a back tool and only if while displayed as a back tool you assume the orientation follows Fanuc rules. I bet the number of people doing that are pretty low, but will increase. especially if we fix AXIS to display a back tool properly.
