Would it work to plug my 7i33 board into one of the other 2 simple I/O connectors on the 5i20 board? I'm not sure of the configuration used on the 5i20, it's the one that loads with the MESA configuration of EMC2. The only edits I've done so far is for AXIS Lathe display and encoder resolutions to show encoder counts (a 1024 line encoder will display .4096" in one rev.). I think the 2nd 5i20 port can be used for either I/O or up to 4 more encoders. Any special configuration needed to use the 2nd port for I/O? Or should I just use the 3rd port to see my encoder lines as inputs to display on HalScope? Thanks!
