John, There have been several guys over at CNCZone that have been trying to get their machines running with emc2 using stepconf without success and I have been trying to help them. So I sent Jeff the attachments (via separate email). What is pastebin??? I looked at the stepconf generated ini file and hal file and I am not seeing what is causing my problem with it. Since all three axii are using the same drive, the same pitch screw, same motor, and all are direct drive, it seems that the configuration should be the same except for the pin numbers. In that it appears to be correct. My working ini and hal files are derived from stepper_in.ini and xylotex_pinout.hal and those files are considerably different from the files generated by stepconf. On the hal files diff basically doesn't find any common lines to anchor on.
