Jim, That is exactly what I am doing. There is no PID, axis.2.motor-pos-cmd is connected directly to axis.2.motor-pos-fb, as follows:
net Zpos-cmd axis.2.motor-pos-cmd => axis.2.motor-pos-fb Regards, Eric another thought. can you take out the pid loop completely? that way the pwmgen just gets the Zpos-cmd and thats the end of it, no following to worry about. or do i need to do a bit more reading?
