I think for a C axis it would make sense to use the XY origin of the current coordinate system, but that is less obviously sensible for the XZ position of a B or the YZ of an A. Perhaps the preview should use the origin of a little-used coordinate system, or have the option to choose the origin coordinate system from the menu. (so, if you wanted an accurate preview and had a non-obvious origin, you could switch coordinate systems, touch off, then switch back and use the alternative. I am not sure how worthwhile that is, just unwrapping the cuts from each other is enough to give a fairly good indication of cut progress. -- atp "Torque wrenches are for the obedience of fools and the guidance of wise men" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ All the data continuously generated in your IT infrastructure contains a definitive record of customers, application performance, security threats, fraudulent activity and more.
