Yes, epoxy-granite has superior vibration dampening properties - 6 times better than cast iron. The thing about using it together with concrete - concrete is shrinking for weeks after pouring as the moisture dries out, so special additives need to be used. Otherwise vibration can make all the embedded inserts loose.
