I am using Debian squeeze + Trinity Desktop + Kernel and EMC2 from EMC Repository. Basicly it's identical to Exe Linux Live-CD http://exe-linux.fastfishwebsolutions.com/ with some tweaking (replace kernel and some libs for emc). Basicly it's a good way to go for me, as I like KDE3.5.
