Wouldn't the best be to laser print the pattern onto a 2' square paper
sheet, then set up a single, simple lens a 1' focal length in a darkened
room, and expose onto a photographic sheet. It's the only way you're going
to get incredible resolution in a simple way. Just like they make computer
chips...

You could even use a simple pin-hole.
