It's just a plain xterm...no need to go calling it names! ;-) Standard X rules apply, since it's a standard X program. Select via left button. Insert via <shift><insert> or the middle mouse button if you have one (my mice don't and the click both left-and-right for middle doesn't seem to be working). You can also use <ctrl><(left|right)-click> to bring up some configuration options for the xterm.
