I believe I had better retract that, it seems Bolton is playing fast and loose with a tape measure. That identical looking lathe is said to be 22" between centers at Grizzly, where the Bolton, calling itself a 28", is actually 23" between centers, probably with the tailstock slid as far to the right as the clamp can hold it. The both weigh within 20 lbs, but the grizzly comes with chucks, while the Bolton comes with a 6.5" 4 jaw as its only selectable choice, at nearly $200 extra of course. I'll look at the Grizzly a bit closer the next time I go by.
