Wow this is bringing out strong feelings. The sticking point here, which I don't think is reflected in your message, is that if we want Oxxx GOTO, someone would have to implement it. Nobody has stepped up who wants to do that. If someone wants to, and it gets done in a sane way (I think the 0xxx LABEL ... 0xxx GOTO would be most consistent with the way our O words work), let's, as they say, thoughtfully consider the patch. But until someone wants to implement GOTO, can we all stop yelling about it?
