After todays run, I think I have to agree. I rigged up the interface so
its controlled by the flood button or M8/M9, but I had to go slice off a
fresh piece of ebony off the new piece and made it about 30 thou thicker
because the last batch was a bit thin. In the process of getting the
code adjusted for the thicker materiel, I wound up with the cutoff being
one pass thru the loop premature, and the loose chip got caught and
broke my last 1/16" carbide mill. So I am out of business with this
stage of the project until I can get another 10 pack of them. I have
about 20 of that size to make yet.

I'm wondering, since I haven't bought mills in quantity 10's in several
months, who has the best price, and quality of edge mill, in that size
range these days? It needs at least 1/4" of working cutter edge @ 1/16th
diameter at the tip.

Suggestions?

Thanks

Cheers, Gene Heskett
