Caps noted, Jon. I accidentally sucked up a paper towel that had one 
corner soaked in acetone 3 minutes before.  Got away with it but it was 
sure a mad dash for the switch.

I have wondered about the bucket-max, as that hump is well vented.  
Another, much older 5 gallon plastic wet-r-dry we have is built very 
similar, and its just as noisy.  But its been run till the bucket was 
full of water, many hours non-stop in its history, and its currently 
sucking from the RO sander.  That one is at least 25 years old.  And 
sounding like the bearings are loosening up.  One of these days 
I 'spose.  I've considered making an even smaller centrifugal separator 
on a 3 lb coffee can for the bucket, but I tried it once and would have 
had to make a new lid, it sucked the usual plastic coffee can lid right 
into the can. A sandwich of 2 disks of 1/4" plywood would reinforce it 
enough I think to keep the lip from ripping off, but the scarcity of 
round tuit's has struck again.  Sigh...
