It is possible to add things to user interface with glade interface designer although I have not figured out how yet. There is also suitable m-codes to adjust parameters for EDM generator.
There is motion.spindle although in reality there are all kind of cutters. In the long term although it is not very important since there are simple work arounds I guess it would be good to think about what kind of cutters there are and just "motion.spindle".
