Hello John,

I don't know If I understand you correctly, but I already have the boards
and I intend to use the 7i70 for inputs (I have already 6 inductive sensors
only for the turret and also all the limit switches and some other switches
for the tailstock and tail body). Then I have more than 10 relays to drive
and that's where the 7i71 comes in. I already have the boards and I choose
them for the convenience of the RJ45 jacks.

I planned to use the 7i33 to drive the servos and also the spindle but
since the servos behave excellent with step + dir (they work with 17 bit
encoders) and also I can simplify the mechanical setup I decided to use
them with step and direction instead of closed loop. So the 7i33 will be
used only to drive the analog spindle input on the VFD.

The thing is, I'm lacking the breakout board for the step+dir so I was
thinking about using the 7i47 which seems to do the job, but I wanted to
ask here because may be there's another one that suits better for the job.
