The STBML drives for AC servos aren't too hard to tune.  Especially if the 
encoder has a UVW output too.  I was never able to satisfactorily tune the DC 
Servos with the STMBL drive.  I went back to the HP_UHU drives with Henrik 
Olsson's dsPIC upgrade processor module.  They work really nicely.
