I made my wrench about 12 years ago - or more. It is just made from mild steel heated and quenched in oil just to put a black finish on it. It has worked well in my hobby shop and the teeth show no signs of wear. It seemed like the ones I could buy at the time were too expensive and I was probably feeling guilty for exceeding my budget so I made one one day. But now I think I would just buy one. It was before I had CAD so I probably spent more time writing the program than actual machining. Drilled the holes first then bolted to my 1-2-3 blocks held in a 6" vise.
