Not familiar with Kwick Switch tooling, but tooling can be very expensive and the more unique the tooling the more expensive it tends to be. I know the HSK63F tooling our routers use are usually about that much or more (for decent ones) and you get what you pay for, the stuff at the lower end of the price scale is often crap. And I've found used, well cared for good quality name brand tool holders are usually better than buying cheapo new stuff for the same price. But junk is junk no mater who maded it once it is worn out, so you have to be careful when buying used stuff.
