Bad themes... ugh... My 2 cents on the subject: Eye candy itself isn't good or bad. What's important is how the eye candy is used. If a program has 80 billion slick effects just for the hell of it, it's pretty much a waste. The key to using powerful graphics stuff is using it to make using an app easier/better. Things like buttons that fade/glow, mouseovers, animations rather than "pop, it happened," they all contribute to a more usable interface (if implemented properly). That's good eye candy. The next big step is having a set of apps with the same "eye candy" effects - and integrated look and feel. This is more central to "e the DE" and not apps just using the libs, but for e development in general... ...but I like eye candy. I'm a big fan of dock magnification. :-) ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf _______________________________________________ enlightenment-devel mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/enlightenment-devel
