That's correct, more or less. It gets all that information when Entourage first starts up, and must access it when you switch to the folder. Then it doesn't have to search for that information because it has it already. No one outside Microsoft knows how the amazing database actually works. It's their trade secret. This is programmer territory - none of us ere knows any of that. You're pipe-dreaming. Probably anything is possible with software - with consequences.
