I can envision another technique that should not be too hard to implement and shouldn't impact performance at all. Just have the From/To column contain the email address as well. When the column is resized to a more reasonable width, the email address would be dropped from the display just as longer names are truncated and an ellipses is shown. This could even be made the default column width. That way the Quick Filter code does not have to be modified in the least, but it would now be able to filter based on information contained only in the email address (such as domain name). Wouldn't that be a reasonable compromise and in my limited knowledge of programming, easily implemented? -Remo Del Bello -- "Marge, it takes two to lie.
