This will make a difference if you keep messages in the Delete Items folder for a long period of time; for example, I only remove items from the Delete Items folder if they are more than 2 weeks old in case I accidentally deleted something important. If instead you empty the delete items folder daily, it will have little effect overall. -- Eric Hildum
