"application software wise", I did upgrade to Office 2004 from Office v.X.

I did not just "drag and drop" the Office 2004 folder off the cd onto my
Applications folder,  I ran the installer program.
I did purchase the "Office 2004 Standard Edition (Upgrade)".

from a "data perspective"-
Once I saw this Account Settings access error, I exported all my data from
Entourage 2004.  Deleted my Office 2004 Identities folder.  Launched
Entourage 2004, freshly added my POP3 and IMAP accounts.  imported my data
files.
error still happens (after viewing an html email).

I can certainly delete my current
 /Applications/Microsoft Office X
and
 /Applications/Microsoft Office 2004

and drag the full Office 2004 folder from cd onto my Applications folder if
this might solve the problem....?
