In my opinion for general shooting and birds shooting, the ideal setup will
be :
17-35 : This kind of optics is simply great how it shows the perspective !
50 1,4 : For low light situations
70-200 2,8L : For general use

Well... And at least the 300 2,8L ! The 400 2,8L planed is just great ! :)

When you have a 17-35 & 70-200 (in my opinion) the interest of an 28-70L is
really less than without the 70-200 for example. The range covered is not so
wide and not so tele.
