Ahh...well the radio slaves and pocket wizards are A LOT more than $30!
Like 10 times more. But to me at least, is an indispensable tool. I use my
radio almost daily with my strobes.
One could always get the little thing that screws into the motor that
converts the fancy screw connector to a 1/8 stereo jack, the adapter I have
I bought many years ago for my T90, but it works fine on my EOS 1n, then use
some phone wire or some other small gauge wire to make a remote cord. I
have several of these I made using cheap wire and simple push button
switches bought at radio shack. They work very well...do not activate the
focus but they do trip the shutter.
