Hey Tim !! MML still remember you (as do I) :-)
What's up ? I touched to see old friends in the same boat...

Well, how did you find EOS satisfy your needs ?
If memory serves me well, you are focused mainly on wildlife or sport,
aren't you ?

As you see I broke down also and there are chances will eventually lead some
of my friends with me to EOS in foreseen future who also used to be MML
member for quite long time.

Well, frankly, the point I arose in regard of flash makes me a bit nervous.
I was sincerely hoping I would be relatively safe with EOS-3 in regard of
his advanced E-TTL, FEL, however it turns to be another reason for my
concerns.
Well, this week I hope my 550EX will arrive finally, so I'll have to work
out some test shooting procedures to figure out my way....

BTW, what about your lenses ? (what L beast did you explored already) ?

Regards,
Alex Z

This is right Alex and is what I found most difficult when I changed from
Minolta to EOS years ago. It is quite different from the Minolta slow synch
setup which I always found to be really good. I have successfully used the
EOS system both in P and M modes where the flash is calculated
automatically. I actually think that this was the first question I asked of
this forum when I got my EOS gear. What the !?!......
