Hi,

I have a Tamron 1.4 TC which simply transmits the lens aperture without any
modification, whilst my EOS 1.4x extender transmits a 1 stop reduced aperture
value. If you have access to a multimeter or even a torch and some wire you
could check out the corresponding Kenko contacts for 1:1 connection. (I assume
the Kenko doesn't include any form of chip?)
