After hearing someone suggest setting up the camera and having it take a picture every few minutes, I'm really wishing I had gotten the timed remote now. That sounds so cool! -- Yeah, it rocks. - You can use it as a delay; similar to your camera's built in time but you can make it any amount of time. - You can use it to setup timed shots: 1 photo every 5 minutes, 1 photo every 15 seconds. - You can use it to setup long exposures: 1 minute exposure, 5 minute exposure, any length exposure. - You can use it to take a set number of photos. - And, you can combine any and all of the above features: Wait 5 minutes, shoot a 2 minute exposure every 30 minutes, take a total of 50 shots. Definitely worth the extra money.
