Hey Ed: I realize that new sport pilots are a rarity. Ed wrote "Since the

abuse for having created a failure."
However, there are many more pilots that are flying
again because their medical status would have been questionable. They had a
pilots license, and a drivers licence.
I have no idea how many pilots there are that are
flying without a medical, and I really do not want to know. Some of these have
been made legal now, and the others are still flying.
I guess it is a good deal, but it would be better
if we did end up at 15 or 1600 lbs gross weight. That would still not make the
people flying without a medical legal, but it would make a lot more airplanes
so.
