greetings I was wondering if anyone has (or knows how to get) a listing of people who are/were on the waiting lists for the EV1 and the Th!nk.
The blantant lies of Ford and GM that "no one wants EVs" are, IMHO, their biggest vulnerability. My thought is that if enough people are willing to sign affadavits that they are/were on waiting lists (or if the actual waiting lists themselves could be obtained), then that could be used as leverage to pry open the lie... perhaps a legal action would be useful (I don't know if lieing to the public is against the law, but it sure is slimey), and certainly it would go a long way to convince some journalist to take the story and run with it (there's a Pullitzer prize waiting out there for whoever rips this one open, I would guess)... if not Frontline, then some local affiliate or newspaper with someone who's hungry to make a name for themselves and has the gumption for a fight perhaps each of us should start writing letters to local news people in our areas encouraging them to take up the story - if nothing else it will inform reporters that there is something going on besides what's in the corporate press releases my 2eV
