The one issue I have with those is that it doesn't prevent your charger from trying to draw MORE current than the EVSE allows. As long as you have a 3.3KW (or less) charger, it will likely be fine - Unless plugged into a 120V 15A outlet where the EVSE is telling your charger to limit itself to 12A (about 1500W).
