Aside from the fact that a '56 Chevy is stone-age compared to modern technology, how can you make a comparison?
I thought most of the people who bemoaned electronics in cars have died off by now, or are too old to drive. Yeah, not everyone gets a UI right, but I much prefer the UI and systems in a Modern Tesla over anything made even 10 years ago. One of the best things to happen is all the advanced safety systems that electronics and modern compute brings to the table. I suspect commercial FM radio is dying a slow death, it'll last a little longer than AM, but not much. I can't stand to listen to anything but NPR because of the incessant advertising which seems to now make up around 30% of the airtime.
