Quite a few of the new low-cost small EVs now hitting the market in Europe are trying to capture the "crossover" look. A couple of examples are the Citroen EC3 and the Hyundai Inster, both priced under 24k euros before any subsidies. I'm not a fan of the style, but presumably others are. In any case they offer a higher driving position that you might find more comfortable, if by some chance any of them ever makes it to the US market - or if you ever make it to the EU.
