I had problems with groupshield 6.0 and exchange 2003. I would have to stop the groupshield services to get mail flowing again.
Check your event log and see if you see lots application error trying to scan mailitems I couldn't take it and got sybari antigen instead. The mail entry is marked up for a retry and eventually goes through. I have manually connected to the external site in question using Telnet and the remote system is performing as expected, there are no excessive delays. Can anybody shed any further light/suggestions?
