Did you install ADC before running /ForestPrep and then when running /ForestPrep specify that your Exchange 2000 server would be in the existing Exchange 5.5 organization? If not, you aren't in the same organization and as far as I know you can't use Move Mailbox without some drastic surgery to your organization.

However, the Exchange 2000 server and the Exchange 5.5. server are both listed in the same site and organization under the Exchange 5.5. administrator program. The Exchange 2000 server was formerly a Windows NT PDC that has been upgraded to Windows 2000 AD and has Exchange 2000 installed. The ADC refuses to let me create a two way agreement between the 5.5 and 2000 server. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Andrew Chan" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Exchange Discussions" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Thursday, February 21, 2002 10:54 AM Subject: RE: How to move mailboxes from Exchange 5.5. to 2000 via script Did you set up the Connection Agreement (CA) on ADC for both ways? If you select, "Exchange Tasks" on these accounts, Move Mailbox is not an option. I read somewhere that this is because the Active Directory Connector is not installed, but it is installed. There must be some minimum requirements for this to work? Example.. must the Exchange 2000 server must be in the same Exchange Organization as the 5.5. server? Thanks. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Amit Zinman" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Exchange Discussions" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Thursday, February 21, 2002 9:21 AM Subject: RE: How to move mailboxes from Exchange 5.5. to 2000 via script You can filter the users by using the "find" command and then move them. There are 10 of 1000s of mailboxes.
